🐾 Meet Maddie – Your Future Best Friend! 🐾

Maddie is a beautiful small lurcher approx 12 months old with a gentle soul and so much love to give. She’s as lovely on the inside as she is on the outside, and during her time in foster care she’s truly been as good as gold.

Bright and eager to learn, Maddie has already picked up several commands in a short space of time. She understands “wee wee” and happily heads out into the garden when asked – such a clever girl!

✨ The Good Stuff:
• Clean and quiet overnight
• Doesn’t chew her bedding
• Great recall (and comes straight back for her little treat!)
• Loves her food – which makes training nice and easy
• Enjoys a good run and chasing a ball
• Prefers a tasty bone over toys
• Gets along well with other dogs

As a small lurcher, Maddie loves to stretch her legs and have a good run, but she also has good recall and is keen to please. This will continue to improve with ongoing training. She would really thrive in a home with another dog of similar size and energy – she absolutely loves to play and takes great comfort from having a canine friend around.

Maddie can be a little nervous around new people, especially men, as she has clearly experienced some unkindness in her past. However, with calm introductions and a few tasty treats, she quickly warms up. Once she trusts you, she will be incredibly loyal and devoted to her person. ❤️

• No cats
• Can live with other dogs
• Children aged 6+
• An active family who can continue her training and confidence-building
