SHANKLEY

Shankley is just over 11 years old but still full of beans.
For approximately 10 days, he was left inside his home with his deceased owner. He didn’t understand they were gone.
He simply waited.
Waiting for them to wake up.
Waiting for food and water.
Waiting for someone to come through the door.
But nobody came. 💔
When police finally entered, Shankley had no food, no water and no way outside.
Somehow, this beautiful old boy survived.
Now he’s with us, and he desperately needs a forever home. ❤️‍🩹
Shankley is incredibly sweet, loving, people-friendly and dog-friendly. Once he settles, he walks beautifully on the lead and he’s fully house trained.

And he LOVES food! 😂 He arrived slightly overweight and we quickly discovered he’s a little food thief. 🤣
