DIXIE
Breed: Lurcher
Age: 9 years
Gender: Female
Dogs?: No
Cats?: No
Children?: Over 16 years
Poor Dixie has been in and out of our care for years. Initially she came to us as her owner was leaving the country and since then we have struggled to find her forever home. She is very smart, active for her age, and likes routine. She is dog reactive - though her foster family work very hard at this and she can take part in on-lead dog walks nicely. Dixie needs someone to understand her and give her all the love she needs. With a set routine she absolutely thrives and her playful side really shows.

SPUD
Breed: Lurcher
Age: 6 years
Gender: Male
Dogs?: Depends
Cats?: No
Children?: Over 12 years
Spud is a 6-year-old lurcher who thrives in a home. He’s loving, gentle, and just wants to be near someone who cares. But he has separation anxiety, so he needs someone who can be with him most of the time.
He’s good with other dogs when introduced properly. He is not cat friendly.
He’s happiest in a home with children aged 12 and up. He loves going to the pub and his tail is very waggy when he’s happy. He’s been through so much in his life, from being used for badger baiting, to having his nose reconstructed. Spud’s scars tell the tale of a life that hasn’t yet begun for him.

ESI
Breed: Lurcher
Age: 4 years
Gender: Female
Dogs?: No
Cats?: No
Children?: Over 12 years
Esi was a puppy within one of the very first litters we ever helped with 4 years ago. Now, however, her previous owner's circumstances have changed so she has come back to us. Esi is incredibly loyal, sweet, and affectionate with those she knows. As she is part Saluki/ Azawakh/ Sloughi, she needs a very experienced Sighthound home. Her high prey drive and dog reactivity require someone who is on-the-ball. When she is bonded with you though, it's for life.

PENNY
Breed: Greyhound
Age: 3 years
Gender: Female
Dogs?: Sighthounds
Cats?: No
Children?: 10 years +
Penny has recently swapped the racetrack for a chance at real home comforts. Penny is great with other sighthounds but would prefer a home without small dogs. As she’s come straight from the track, everything about home life is new to her, so she’ll need a little patience and guidance. She’ll reward you tenfold with affection and loyalty. Penny would suit a calm home with children aged 10+, where she can settle in at her own pace.

MYLO
Breed: Lurcher
Age: 10 months
Gender: Male
Dogs?: Yes
Cats?: Maybe
Children?: Over 10 years
Mylo has come from a loving home with other dogs/cats/children. His family's circumstances changed so he has come to us for rehoming. He is a small young lurcher who doesn't really know anything. Mylo needs all the basics teaching to him for him to grow up to be a well rounded pup in society. He is full of beans, excitable, and ready to start a new life learning all the wonders of the world. He may be cat workable due to him living with one previously.

SKINNY
Breed: Greyhound
Age: 4 years
Gender: Female
Dogs?: Yes
Cats?: No
Children?: Over 6 years
Skinny is a gentle, affectionate girl who absolutely loves human attention and will happily lean in for cuddles once she feels comfortable. She can live with other dogs, ideally medium to large-sized companions but No cats. She would be best suited to a home with children aged 6 years and over, who can respect her space and gentle personality. She walks beautifully on the lead and is a pleasure to take out, making daily walks easy and enjoyable. She travels well in the car making trips stress-free.

PADDY
Breed: Greyhound
Age: 4 years
Gender: Male
Dogs?: Larger, yes
Cats?: No
Children?: 5 years +
This handsome big boy is incredibly loving and affectionate who’ll keep you smiling. Paddy walks beautifully on the lead and travels well in the car, making him a great companion for days out. Paddy could live with other larger hounds, but he’s not cat or small-dog friendly, so a home without small animals is best. Due to his size, we recommend a home with children aged 5+ . If you’re looking for a gentle giant, Paddy would love to meet you.
